Poems About Faith

I write poems about faith because  faith poems are great inspiration when you need an encouraging word.

Faith in the Lord is a poem I wrote after reading the book of Habakkuk 3:17-19:

"Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; though the flock may be cut off from the fold and thee be no heard in the stalls--- Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord is my strength; He will make my feet like deer feet and He will make me walk on my high hills. To the Chief Musician with my stringed instruments."

                                         Faith in the Lord

Though the sun passes me by
and dark clouds covers the sky..
my faith in the Lord will not die...
Though it may be a stormy day,
and sky is cloudy and grey,
I have faith in the Lord that
He will make the storm go away...
Though the storm rages day and night,
and the dark clouds have blurred my sight,
I have faith in the Lord that tomorrow
will be sunny and bright!
Habakkuk 3:17-19
