The Last Meal

Jesus said that He would be shedding His blood for the world.  Jesus knew His disciplines couldn't possibly understand this great message because how can anyone atone for the sins of the world?

At the last meal, Jesus symbolically put His death and resurrection into the discipline’s mouth. They ate of the bread and drank the wine showing their great faith! They didn’t realize what this great Last Meal meant then and I sometimes have trouble fully comprehending what this great meal means today, but the good part is I have faith to believe without seeing!

“ O Lord, at my last meal on earth, I pray You will be there to say ‘Well Done Thou Good and Faithful Servant!’”

“While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” Matthew 26:28

I pray I see you at the Lord’s Dinner Table!
